Cost is $35/per person and includes cover charge (normally $10) as well as a variety of finger foods, beer, wine and well drinks from 7-9 p.m. An elevated room overlooking the main dance floor at Seacrets has been reserved for our alumni group.

The BU Alumni Association is having a Philly BU Alumni Gathering at a Phantoms Hockey game. We’d DKE Alumni there. This is a great event for everyone, you can spend a night out with the guys or take the family.

Description: Philly Phantoms vs Binghamton at the Wachovia Center. Tickets $25 per person, includes “all-you-can-eat” at the concession stand! There will also be a post-game skate with the players for children age 14 and under.
BU Alumni is meeting before the game at Bullies Sports Bar & Restaurant, where you can pick up your ticket and visit with other alumni, then walk to the game. I’m suggesting all DKEs that want come to the game also come to Bullies at 6:00 PM for a pre-game gathering.
The event is all being put together by the BU Alumni Association. You have to buy tickets from them, the tickets are limited, so register now on www.bloomualumni.com. On the site, click on “who’s going” to see what DKE and other BU Alums are attending.

Arrive any time throughout the weekend to enjoy the events but be sure to register! The registration packet will include tickets & name tags needed to gain access to some of the events and a 50 % discount coupon for tickets to Evita along with other great stuff. Also, when you register, you become eligible for the great prizes we’ll be giving away all weekend! Computers and staff assistance will be available so that you can sign on to the alumni website, if you are not already a member.

Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania’s Council of Trustees accepted bids for the Redman Stadium renovation project during a special meeting Tuesday, Dec. 18. The action paves the way for upgrades to the structure built in 1974.
Dr. David L. Soltz, provost and senior vice president for academic affairs at Central Washington University, has been selected to serve as the next president of Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.
